(Preposition)ASIDE

BRUSH ASIDE: not to take any notice. The management brushed aside the
workers' demands.
KEEP ASIDE: keep your book aside.
LAY ASIDE: to store money etc to be used in future. He laid aside some money.
LAY ASIDE: to stop doing or using something for a brief period, put
aside. She laid aside her book and played with the child.
LEAVE ASIDE: do not talk or think about an idea etc. for some time.
Leaving aside the question of expenses, let us take the pros and cons
of the project.
PULL ASIDE: pull somebody to one side. She pulled him aside to whisper
something.
PUSH ASIDE: mover away. He pushed her aside.
PUT ASIDE: put something away, lay aside. He put aside the newpaper
and looked at the bird.
PUT ASIDE: save money. He put aside a portion of his income.
PUT ASIDE: stop doing something. Gulshan put aside his work and came
out with me.
STAND ASIDE:
SET ASIDE: put aside. She set aside her work and looked at me.
