(Preposition)AS

CLASSIFY AS: put in a particular class. Shares ina company are not
classified  as goods.
DERIDE AS: mock at, consider something as trivial. Their efforts to
deride my work as insignificant proved useless.
DESCRIBE AS: narrate, state. she desbribes herself as a specialist in
decoration. He has a strong desire for rehana.
HAIL AS: to describe something as very important. His poems are hailed
as classics.
LABEL AS: use a word or phrase to describe somebody or something. He
was labelled as trouble-shooter.
MASQUERADE AS: to pretend to be someone else. He masquerade as a
police inspector.
NOMINATE AS: choose somebody for a particular work. They nominated
prahlas as their representative.
QUALIFY AS: be able to practise a profession. She qualified as a
computer professional.
RAISE AS: bring up. His parents raised her as a hindu.
RANK AS: have the qualities of. Gandhiji ranks as one of the gretest
men of the century.
RATE AS: have the standard of. He was rated as one of the bravest soldier.
RECKON AS: consider as. He wanted to be reckoned as a comrade.
RECOGNISE AS: accept something or somebody as an authority etc. The
court has yet to recognize her as his legal wife.
REGARD AS: consider or reckon as. Lata regards me as her best friend.
RENOWN AS: fame, admiration etc as. His renown as a champion of
farmers is known to me.
REPRESENT AS: appear in a particular role or position. He represented
himself as a man of trust.
SERVE AS: be useful for a particular purpose. The leafs served as
plates for the food
