(Preposition)AROUND

CAST AROUND: try to find out something. The hunter cast around for an animal.
CENTRE AROUND: main subject of attraction. The discussion centred
around corruption.
CLUSTER AROUND: collect around something  in a tight group.Newspersons
clustered  around the cinema star.
CROWD AROUND: collect around someone. The players crowded around the coach.
FLOAT AROUND:something talked and discussed. The rumurs floated around.
HAND AROUND: offer something to all the people. Sweets were handed around.
HAWAK AROUND: offer something for sale. I saw him hawking around his
family silver.
HUDDLE AROUND:gather closely together because of fear and cold. The
pups huddled around their mother.
GET AROUND:go to many different places. Getting around made him an
experienced man.
GO AROUND:move in a circular or curving direction. The car went around
a bend and disappeared.
JACK AROUND: waste somebody's time. He is in the habit of jacking his
mother around.
KID AROUND: behave foolishly. I asked him to stop kidding around.
MESS AROUND: spend time lazily doing things slowly. He messed around
his days in the city.
MOVE AROUND: transfer employees from one office to another. They keep
their employees moving around from one place to another.

around the open space.

SCOUT AROUND: to look for something in a particular area. They were
scouting around for a lost dog.
SHOW AROUND: show the visitors a place. She was showing the visitors around.
SKIRT AROUND: to go around the outside edge of a place or area. The
road skirts around the nakki lake.
SKIRT AROUND: avoid dealing with a subject. They skirted around the main issue.

TURN AROUND: move around, show someone  one's back. I asked him to turn around.
