ACCEPTABLE FOR/TO:good to be used or adopted. the decision was
acceptable to all the parties.
ACCESS FOR/TO:be able to reach, available. there is an easy access for
the children to the park.
AFFINITY BETWEEN/FOR/WITH:sharing strongly in the same ideas, feelings
and motions. affinity between pakistan and the terrorists is not new.
AGITATE AGAINST/FOR: campaign for something, argue strongly against
something. the workers were agitating for better wages.
ANXIETY ABOUT/FOR/OVER:being very worried. there was much anxiety
about the possible attack.
APPEAL TO/FOR:an earnest request for something. they made an appeal
for liberal donations.
APPLY FOR/TO: formal request in writing. shyama applied for the post
of secretary.
APPREHENSIVE ABOUT/FOR: worried or anxious. she was least apprehensive

REACH FOR/IN:to move hand or arm to pick up or touch something. The
butter reached for his gun.

SEND AWAY/FOR/OFF:send money,coupen etc. i sent away one of my boys
for the free gift.
SHOOT AT/FOR: try to achieve an aim. we expect to shoot at 25 percent
growth in out exports
SOLUTION TO/FOR: a way to solving a problem etc. there cannot be easy
solutions for these problems. the solutions to the puzzles is at the
bottom.
WORRY TO/FOR: problem which makes worried. Housing was a big worry for them.
